How to Rate Your Pint

Getting started is easy. Consumers can visit the Rate Your Pint microsite at https://perfectpintguide.guinnessmsia.com/ and follow these four simple steps:

Step 1: Take the Tilt Challenge
Begin with the interactive Tilt Challenge on your mobile device. By tilting your screen, you’ll learn how a properly poured Guinness Draught should retain its signature creamy head—a simple and engaging introduction to identifying a perfect pint.

Step 2: Rate Your Pint
Visit a participating outlet and assess the Guinness Draught served to you using three key criteria on the microsite:

  • Serve: Served in a clean glass, free from spills and presented on a Guinness coaster
  • Tilt: The creamy head remains intact when the glass is gently tilted
  • Taste: Smooth, balanced and true to the distinctive character of Guinness Draught

Step 3: Submit Your Rating
Once completed, submit your evaluation and have your score added to the live Perfect Pint Guide, helping recognise outlets that consistently deliver quality Guinness serves.

Step 4: Track Your Progress and Unlock Rewards
Log in to your personal profile to monitor your ratings and progress towards becoming a Chief Pint Officer. Along the way, consumers can unlock exclusive rewards and experiences as they reach different milestones within the Perfect Pint Guide programme.

Raising the Bar, Together

Each rating adds to the Perfect Pint Guide, creating a dynamic, community-powered benchmark for exceptional Guinness Draught serves across Malaysia. Through collective participation, consumers help recognise outlets that uphold the highest standards, making it easier for fellow Guinness enthusiasts to discover a truly great pint.

"Last year, we searched the country for three people to champion the perfect pint as our first-ever Chief Pint Officers. The response showed us that the pride consumers feel in the craftsmanship and ritual behind a perfectly poured Guinness runs deeper than anticipated and that it's something worth sharing," said Joyce Lim, Marketing Manager at Guinness Malaysia. "With Rate Your Pint, we're opening that up. It’s about eg them to play a role in upholding its quality. Because a great pint is always better when the people around the table appreciate it too. This guide is built on those shared moments."
