Hong Kong rock icon Paul Wong of Beyond and Taiwanese-American singer-songwriter and rapper ØZI took the stage alongside Malaysian acts 3P, ManHanD, Dato’ Maw, Elva Suyan and S.A.C. Spanning rock, R&B, M-pop and hip-hop, the diverse line-up united music fans across generations. The “Roar With Courage” spirit came to life through Courage Confessions, an interactive segment inviting festivalgoers to share personal stories of courage for live display on the big screen. The initiative gave attendees a chance to have their experiences recognised and celebrated by thousands of fellow music fans.

The festival also hosted a Courage Market, showcasing local food vendors whose entrepreneurial journeys reflected the same bold spirit. Celebrating their determination—from starting a business to overcoming challenges—the market offered festivalgoers a variety of treats, including desserts, sushi rolls, sandwiches and street food favourites.

“We believe everyone has an inner tiger, and that people are capable of more than they think. Sometimes, all it takes is the courage to push past that moment of doubt and take the next step. That's the spirit we've been celebrating through Roar With Courage. With Tiger Roar Asian Music Festival, we brought these individual stories together through music, reminding Malaysians of the courage they already have within them,” said Julie Kuan, Marketing Manager of Tiger Beer Malaysia.

Tiger’s “Roar With Courage” campaign has celebrated courage in many forms, including Tiger Courage Beats, which transformed nearly 2,000 personal stories into AI-generated Courage Songs. Each story captured a moment when Malaysians chose to move forward despite doubt and uncertainty. The festival united these individual expressions in a shared celebration of courage, determination and the people who support us along the way.
