Connor’s Stout Porter – the award-winning stout recognized by its iconic half Union Jack – continues to prove it’s Made to Be Different. This time, through Connor’s Collective: an all-day celebration of creativity, culture, and community that proudly set a new benchmark in the Malaysia Book of Records for the “Longest Non-Stop Techno Music Event,” running from 11:00 AM to midnight.

Held at Heritage Valley KL, Connor’s Collective welcomed over 3,700 festivalgoers for 13 hours of non-stop energy, boundary-pushing music, and immersive experiences. From genre-blending DJ sets and exclusive streetwear drops to interactive creative zones, every element of the festival reflected Connor’s bold spirit – celebrating individuality, challenging convention, and embracing those who live unapologetically.

Olga Pulyaeva, Marketing Director at Carlsberg Malaysia, said the festival was a tribute to the growing community of trailblazers, creators and non-conformists who resonate with the brand. “Connor’s was born to break conventions and prove that stout can be Made to Be Different. After earning a World Record last year, we kept that spirit alive with Connor’s Collective, setting a Malaysia Book of Records title for the “Longest Non-stop Techno Music Event”. We didn’t just serve quality stout, we brought together a community to defy the expected. It was a truly stout-standing celebration of doing things differently and staying true to what we stand for.”
Connor’s Collective transported guests into a multi-sensory world inspired by the stout’s unique character through The Great Blend of Four Malts – a cinematic walkthrough that brought Connor’s four-malt story to life. With dynamic visuals and an inside look at the perfect pour ritual, the experience captivated from start to finish. It all led to the Connor’s Bar, where guests received a can of Connor’s and were invited to take part in the signature shake ritual – a fun, communal tradition that celebrates the Connor’s way of enjoying stout, together.

Festivalgoers reveled in an electrifying, non-stop techno line-up featuring DJs and producers from near and far — all building up to a high-energy finale by Brazilian electronic artist Liu, who made a triumphant return to Kuala Lumpur to close out the night in style. His performance marked the final moment of the record-setting achievement, officially sealing the Malaysia Book of Records title.
Meanwhile, the Skate Park Stage delivered soul, groove, and local flavour, while the Mixology Bar kept spirits high with creative Connor’s-infused cocktails. With more than 20 acts powering Malaysia’s longest non-stop techno music event, it was a full-day celebration of music, culture, and community — all reinforcing one message: Connor’s is truly Made to Be Different.

Connor’s Collective marked the pinnacle of a nationwide campaign aimed at empowering bold, fearless self-expression. At the heart of this movement is the launch of the Connor’s x Doubleback Duffleback Backpack, a sleek, versatile streetwear hybrid. Fans now have a chance to win one of 1,500 limited-edition units, each valued at RM900, through a nationwide contest worth over RM1.3 million in total prizes. With every Connor’s purchase – whether at bars, cafés, supermarkets, convenience stores, Shopee, or Grab – consumers get one step closer to scoring the coveted Duffleback.
But the experience doesn’t stop there. Connor’s is bringing its iconic Shake & Sip serve to over 120 locations nationwide, while exclusive vending machines are popping up in selected spots – offering fans even more chances to win limited-edition merchandise.
In a category often rooted in tradition, Connor’s is rewriting the rules. With its smooth, creamy profile and distinct coffee notes, this award-winning stout is brewed for a new generation of trailblazers – easy to enjoy, and unapologetically different.
