Tips to Drink Wine and Stay Thin

Wine can keep our body healthy if consumed in moderation. The following tips may help you to stay thin while drinking wine.


1. Know wine’s calories

Most wine has range of 92-175 calories per glass. You may refer to the wine calories chart if you would like to control your diet.

2. Don’t drink before you eat

Drinking wine before your meal has shown to increase appetite when consumed 30 minutes before eating. Try to avoid before eating and have it during or after your meal.

Meanwhile, having wine on a full stomach will make you less likely to feel the effects.

3. Drink red wine

Red wine has shown to have much higher antioxidants than other wines. Take note on alcohol level when purchasing a bottle and try to keep it below 13.5% ABV.

4. Don’t drink too late

Drinking alcohol is similar to taking a meal. In order to drink wine and stay thin, avoid drinking too late.
